Preference & Bid Matching
This NPC-compliant feature intelligently manages the
coordination and logistics for the rounds, or “sets,”
of preference parties that make up the formal recruitment
process and that ultimately lead to Bid Day, the day
on which potential members are invited to join a sorority.

With each successive set of parties, sororities and
potential members mutually select their affiliation
preferences to narrow down their options. After each
set of preference parties, the system automates the
matching algorithm, by analyzing inputted preferences
to match potential members with sororities, and even
settles “ties.” Next, the Administrator
generates invite lists for the next set of parties.
After a review for accuracy, the Administrator authorizes
the release of the next set of parties which delivers
schedules to potential members and sorority chapters—by
both sending an email and updating their myCalendar.
Throughout the entire formal membership recruitment
process, the Administrator can view, sort, and edit
invite lists using intuitive point-and-click list management
tools. After the last round of parties, the application
creates new member lists for review and approval.
